About Jenny Siegel, MD
Jenny Siegel, MD is the Medical Director of the MGH Transgender Health Program as well as the Lead for Health Equity and Community-Based Education for the MGH Internal Medicine Residency Program. She grew up in North Dakota, obtained her BA in neuroscience from Smith College and her MD from Harvard Medical School; she subsequently completed her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at University of California, San Francisco. She has longstanding interests in medical education, teaching advocacy and health equity, and LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing.
She currently sees patients in the Transgender Health Program and teaches on the inpatient medical service.
Prior to coming to MGH, she was Associate Program Director of the Boston Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program and served as the Medical Director of the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery (CTMS) at Boston Medical Center.
