About Stephen Ostrowski, MD, PhD
Stephen Ostrowski, MD, PhD is an Instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Ostrowski attended Northwestern University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in biology with honors. He then completed a dual MD/PhD degree at Case Western Reserve University, receiving the Dermatology Faculty Prize and Lepow Research Awards. After completing his internship, Dr. Ostrowski completed a combined dermatology residency and research fellowship at Case Western, twice receiving research fellowship awards from the Dermatology Foundation. He presented his work at the Society for Investigative Dermatology and Montagna Symposium conferences.
Dr. Ostrowski is a physician-scientist performing basic science and translational research in the area of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer biology. Dr. Ostrowski's research is focused on signaling pathways that influence survival of melanoma and Merkel cell cancer.
Dr. Ostrowski's clinical interest encompass adult and general dermatology, including inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer detection and treatment.

This was my first time seeing this provider. He listened carefully, discussed the issues with me, and performed a skin biopsy. Both Dr Ostrowski and his nurse were attentive to my dermatological problem and concerns. I was very pleased with the visit.
First and foremost, I was taken on time; maybe even a bit earlier. Dr Ostrowski has a pleasant demeanour and makes you feel comfortable. He was open to my questions and very responsive.
