About Ragnar Palsson, MD

Dr. Ragnar Palsson is a kidney transplant specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Duke University Medical Center and his nephrology fellowship training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he subsequently completed an advanced fellowship in transplant nephrology. Dr. Palsson's goal is to optimize the care of patients with kidney failure through transplantation. In keeping with this, he is interested in clinical research in nephrology, including biomarker studies that may lead to improved diagnostic tools in the field and facilitate development of novel therapies.
