About William Brugge, MD

Dr. Brugge has focused on diseases of the pancreas including pancreatic cysts, cancer, and chronic pancreatitis. He is an expert in the use of endoscopic ultrasound in the examination and biopsy of the pancreas. He uses fine needle aspiration to obtain cyst fluid for analysis and tissue from pancreatic malignancy. Prior to the procedure, he often meets with patients and family in order to review pertinent history and imaging tests.

Dr Brugge was wonderful explained all the tests, procedures and answered all our questions. Referred me to a surgeon and we were able to get an appointment that same day. Everyone was respectful and helpful.
