About Kristina Bermas, MD
Before joining Mass General as an acute care and trauma surgeon, Dr. Kristina Bermas started her career as a trauma surgeon at Crozer-Keystone Health System near Philadelphia. A few years later, she had the opportunity to launch a trauma program at Banner Health in Arizona, where she served as the associate trauma medical director and later the medical director of surgical critical care. She went on to help develop another trauma program at Banner Health as well as launch their surgical trauma intensive care unit.
She later became involved as an instructor for the Special Operations Tactical Medicine, where she taught trauma and critical care to members of the Special Forces of the military.
