Robert Weatherford, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist who is honored to serve patients by providing obstetric care in Boston and gynecologic care at the Mass General health centers in Revere and Chelsea. Dr. Weatherford chose to become a doctor guided by the ethos and passion of Dr. Paul Farmer, a remarkable humanitarian and physician who believed every human on this planet deserved excellent health care regardless of their wealth or status. Dr. Weatherford chose OB/GYN specifically as his specialty for many reasons, including the joy of caring for patients through pregnancy and delivery; addressing Black and other racial maternal health disparities; providing compassionate, patient-centered care for important, sensitive issues like heavy menstrual bleeding, pregnancy termination, and sexual health; and working to be the best ally possible to patients of color, immigrant and refugee patients, and trans and LGBTQ patients. 

In his free time, he enjoys reading (mostly non-fiction), exercising (swimming and high-intensity interval training), architecture, hiking, travel, long meals with friends and family, and listening to music.

En su tiempo libre, él disfruta de la lectura (principalmente la literatura de no ficción), el ejercicio (la natación y el entrenamiento por intervalos de alta intensidad), la arquitectura, el senderismo, los viajes, comidas largas con amigos y familiares y el escuchar música.
