Dr. O’Donnell’s academic interests are of shoulder preservation, biological optimization, and reparative and reconstructive surgeries. He has published on the medical comorbidities that affect rotator cuff repair, the timing of rotator cuff repair, the outcomes of total shoulder replacements, and shoulder associated health care cost analyses.

Dr O'Donnell is very skilled and personable orthopedist. He has operated on both shoulders with significant injuries during the past 18 months. I have almost full recovery in range of motion and strength in both. I am extremely pleased with my results.
