About Deborah Forst, MD

Dr. Forst obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and English Literature at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After her Internal Medicine Internship at Baylor College of Medicine, she completed her neurology residency training in the Mass General Brigham Neurology Program (Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham and Women’s Hospital), where she served as a Chief Resident during her final year of training.

Dr. Forst’s research focuses on palliative and supportive care for patients with brain and spinal cord tumors, with particular interests in end-of-life care, prognostic understanding in patients and their family caregivers, and improving communication between neuro oncology patients and their clinicians.
