Dr. Jeffrey Peppercorn is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer care at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the MGH Cancer Survivorship Program. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology
Dr. Peppercorn earned his A.B. degree with honors from Harvard College in 1992 and obtained his M.D. at Harvard Medical School and M.P.H. at the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital and his medical oncology training through the Dana-Farber/Mass General Brigham Cancer Care Oncology Fellowship Program in 2005. In addition, he completed the Medical Ethics Fellowship at Harvard University. He served as founding Director of the Duke Cancer Institute Survivorship Center while working as a Tenured Associate Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. He is a Greenwall Foundation Faculty Scholar in Bioethics and an American Cancer Society Research Scholar.
Dr. Peppercorn has published more than 100 papers and chapters related to breast cancer, bioethics and health policy, and cancer survivorship.
