He is a clear communicator, explaining things to me in terms I can understand, and listening to my questions, thoughts, and opinions. He knows me well enough to be able to make recommendations that align with my preferences. Dr. Sullivan is always prepared when we meet which gives me great confidence in him and my care.

Absolutely unbelievable! Nobody wants to be on 7th floor Yawkey-but my wife and I soon discovered that is where we want to be with dr. Sullivan. His compassion, thoroughness, and confidence made us as comfortable as we could be!

This was my first visit with Dr. Sullivan. He listened carefully to me as I described my history and current needs, as I understand them. We agreed on scheduling my next appointment 12 months out, which is what I wanted, with the understanding that I could call him if anything changes or something new crops up.

Dr. Sullivan was extremely kind, caring, and compassionate. He had to deal with my very bad diagnosis, melanoma, which is not curable, and he was very compassionate, very patient, and spent as much time with me as I needed because I was there for quite a while and I was very appreciative. We had to discuss the possibility of me taking a very rigorous treatment with a lot of side effects, which I decided I didn't want, and he did not try to push me in any direction. He was really aware that this was my decision, my decision with my husband, and that he would go along with whatever decision. I am sure if I participated in the study, it would be very helpful to him because it applied to many other patients. This is somewhat of a rare melanoma, oculomelanoma. You probably know.
