Research

I am interested in clinical and translational research in the field of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Specifically, my research interests are to better understand and define environmental factors, particularly dietary, reproductive, and lifestyle factors, and their interplay with common genetic risk loci and gut microbial environment on risk and progression of IBD.

Amazing team and super nice and treated me with respect and dignity

March 2025

Dr. Khalili is great. My whole experience with him has included nurse practitioners, nurses and he himself. Everybody is wonderful listening to what I have to say and they reply. They ask, the nurses ask him questions. He has them reply. He's just fabulous. I just love him. He does a great job. Thank you.

Dr. Khalili is always very accommodating. He listens carefully to what I have to say. His office always tries to get me an appointment asap...even calling me on a "recent cancellation" if I can come in sooner. His staff is one of the nicest I deal with at MGB.
