Finding the help you need can be a challenge. Here are some places to start.
We welcome patients with a new or existing colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy, and their family and friends, to bi-monthly meetings of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Ostomy Support Group.
Hosted by the ostomy nurses from the MGH Gastrointestinal & Oncologic Surgery department (GIOS), the Ostomy Support Group presents an open and inviting atmosphere to ask questions, share tips and discuss relevant topics. Meetings are free and will sometimes feature a guest speaker.
These meetings are offered in-person or virtually.
