Lurie Center for Autism: Pediatric Developmental Services
Lurie Center for Autism
The Lurie Center for Autism is born out of a philosophy that people with developmental disabilities deserve to be viewed as individuals, each with personal patterns of talents and challenges.
The Lurie Center for Autism at MassGeneral Hospital provides comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders as well as ongoing care for children already diagnosed. At this time we are only accepting evaluations for children 6 years and younger.
Our developmental evaluations and services include comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders as well as ongoing care for children already diagnosed with these disorders. Evaluations and services are family centered, recognizing that the parents or guardians have a wealth of knowledge about their child’s development. We can assess children during infancy if there are developmental concerns.
Recognizing that children with ASD often have other health or developmental concerns, our providers collaborate across multiple disciplines within and outside the Lurie Center.
