An integral part of one of the world's most distinguished academic medical centers, the Mass General Cancer Center is among the leading cancer care providers in the United States.
Your care begins with your access nurse who is your ambassador to the Cancer Center. Your access nurse will help coordinate your initial visit and will gather all of the information needed to develop a personalized treatment plan for you.
At your first appointment, you will meet members of your care team, including:
Medical, surgical and radiation oncologists
Specialized pathologists, radiologists, oncology social workers, nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, physical therapists, oncology dietitians, psychiatrists, chaplains, child-life specialists (for pediatric patients), other Mass General specialists and care providers
Our multidisciplinary clinical teams provide patients with an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive evaluation during a patient’s first appointment.
