Dr. McAfee is a great doctor. I always felt comfortable that he was listening to me and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend him as an oncologist.
Dr McAfee took plenty of time with me to explain the full transplant schedule, medications, risks, and risk mitigation plans. Very confident in his abilities. I consulted with transplant doctors at [redacted] (only 3 hours from my home) but I was impressed overall with MGH and the transplant team.
All these "providers" are awesome, caring and definitely professional. They are connected not just doing their jobs. Hard to explain. Have never had a or concern with anyone.
