MGH Charlestown HealthCare Center Pediatric Primary Care provides comprehensive primary care for children and adolescents. We begin caring for children from the beginning and during the baby's exciting first year. From there, we see infants, children and adolescents for routine and urgent care including physicals for school, camp sports, and jobs; immunizations; testing and health screenings; counseling and behavioral services; nutrition and more.

MGH Charlestown also offers a variety of services for adolescents such as physicals for college, sports, and travel programs; counseling for all of a teen's concerns; gynecological exams; and smoking cessation programs.
Center Hours
Regular center hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. On-call physician care is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Billing
We request that you please make any required payments or co-payments at the time of your child's visit. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards. If you have a question about your bill, please call 617-724-8167 or visit the Patient Financial Services Office located on the first floor of our building. Our trained experts can help resolve billing problems and offer financial counseling.Insurance

Referrals
Your child's personal pediatrician is responsible for arranging all of your child's medical care including referrals to specialists. Before you make an appointment to see a specialist call our referral coordinator at 617-724-2073.
Prescriptions
You can renew your child's prescriptions simply by calling 617-724-8204. Please leave your child's name and MassGeneral Hospital for Children Blue Card number plus the name of your child's medication, the dosage, and the telephone number of the pharmacy you would like to use. You can pick up your medicine in twenty-four hours, unless it is an emergency.
Lab Results
For test results, please call 617-724-8204 during Office Hours and Directions and ask to speak to the nurse. Also, please have ready your child's MassGeneral Hospital for Children Blue Card number and the date the test was done.
