Cardiogenetics Program
This program provides evaluation (including genetic counseling, genetic testing, and imaging), clinical monitoring, lifelong care, and age-appropriate education for patients and family members with known or probable cardiogenetic syndromes or genetic conditions (e.g., Down, Marfan, Williams, Ehlers-Danos) in which a cardiac anomaly is a common feature. This program works closely with Pediatric Cardiology to ensure that patients’ care is well-coordinated.
Led by pediatric cardiologist and medical geneticist Angela Lin, MD, and staffed by other medical geneticists, master’s-level genetics counselors, and social workers, this program offers special expertise and support for individuals with cardiomyopathies and Williams, Turner, and Costello syndromes.
