Insurance & Billing

If your child has an outpatient appointment or is scheduled for an inpatient stay, you must first check with your physician’s office to see if your physician accepts coverage from your insurance carrier. Your physician’s office will handle all insurance issues.

Billing

If you are from outside the United States, please be prepared to settle your account at the time you are discharged.

So that we may provide you with the most complete and accurate billing service, please bring the following information to each of your appointments:

• A current or updated MGH Blue Card
• Your current insurance information
• A copy of your referral from your primary care provider (if required)
• Your copay amount
