The
Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer
Center, treating more patients than any
other single facility in the area, comes
into the 21st century as a major care
provider and research institution.
Our vast experience has enabled our medical,
radiation and surgical oncologists,
pathologists, nurses and support staff
to sub-specialize and concentrate on
just one or two types of cancer, thereby
maintaining leading-edge expertise in
the causes, treatments, and research.
Members of our faculty are recognized authorities
in their field, have gained national prominence
in designing and implementing clinical
trials, and are sought for consultations
and second opinions on some of the most
difficult cases by colleagues and patients
around the world.
