Adrenal Gland makes hormones to regulate blood pressure and
other body functions; some examples adrenalin (epinephrine) and steroid
hormones (cortisone)
- The Adrenal Gland has an outer layer (adrenal cortex) and an inner
layer (adrenal medulla)
- Cancer of the outer layer (cortex) is called Adrenocortical Carcinoma.
- Cancer of the inner layer (medullar) is called Pheochromocytoma.
