Sections of the Small Intestine

  • The small intestine connects the stomach to the large intestine.
  • The small intestine is more than 20 feet long.
  • It has three parts: doudenm, jejunum, and ileum. These parts are all connected.
  • Each part helps digest and absorb nutrition in a different way.
